chicken/rice casserole?
It’s a recipe Campbell’s USED to have.It has chicken,long grain rice,and cream of mushroom soup…and that’s all I remember.Help.please!
Oriental Rice Casserole:
Heat 2 tsp cooking oil in pan on medium high.
Add 1lb lean ground chicken or turkey,
1 cup each of chopped onion, sliced celery, diced red pepper.
Scramble-fry for 5-10 minutes until chicken no longer pink. Drain.
Add 2 cups of frozen peas (thawed), 1 1/2 cups bean sprouts,
1 1/2 cups long grain white rice, 10 oz can sliced mushrooms,
3 tbsp soya sauce, stir & remove from heat.
Combine in lg bowl, 10 oz can cream of mushroom, 1 cup hot water,
1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder, 1/2 tsp pepper.
Add chicken mixture, stir well, spread evenly in 4 qt casserole dish.
Cover, bake in 350F oven for 45 minutes, stirring at half-time.
Done when liquid absorbed & rice is tender.
Sprinkle with chow mein noodles before serving.
